female, travelling alone to beijing next week, may 11-15i have kinda tight schedule from morning to evening at china national convention centre. am planning to squeeze a shopping trip to the pearl market somewhere in the evening. my questions:-how to get there from CNCC or from holiday inn minzuyuan-is it safe for a woman to go alone therereally appreciate your respond!

1.From CNCC to the pearl market, you can take subway line 8 at Olympic Green Station, and get off at Beitucheng Station. Then transfer to subway line 10 to Huixinxijie Nankou Station and take line 5 to Tiantan East Gate, Exit B. If you from the hotel, you can find subway line 10 at Beitucheng Station directly. Then the following way is the same.After arriving, walk north around 660 yards, and you can see the market easily.2.Generally speaking, you will be safe. Don’t worry. :-)
