240-Hour Visa-Free Transit + 6-Day Visa-free for Tourists to Pearl River Delta
I have a complex situation. I am a U.S. passport holder planning to take advantage of the 240-Hour Visa Free Transit, so here is my route from my country to Incheon to Beijing via plane, Beijing to Shanghai via Train, Shanghai to Chongqing via Plane, and Chongqing to Zhangjiajie to Yangshou to Guilin via Train. The trip is supposedly from Guilin to Shenzhen, then to Hong Kong, then to my country. Now here's my concern, instead of including Shenzhen from Guilin to Hong Kong to end my 240-Hour Visa Free, I'm thinking of ending it from Guilin to Hong Kong. The reason to exclude Shenzhen from my 240-Hour Visa Free Transit is that I once stayed in Hong Kong for a day. I'm thinking of applying for a 6-Day Visa Free to Shenzhen from Hong Kong for another day or two, then back to Hong Kong, then to my country. Is this scenario allowed or possible? Thanks in advance.
