Shenzhen VOA for UK citizen

Hello,
I want to visit Shenzhen for a day from Hong Kong in about three weeks. Is there any known problem for UK Citizens getting the VOA? It seems for UK citizens the situation can change a bit. It would be difficult for me to get a normal visa, as I need my passport between now and then.
Thanks
Nick

Nick, I think you can get the VOA because you only visit Shenzhen for one days. Anyway, if you cannot get it, you can try to apply for a normal one in Hong Kong by using rush service, which only takes two or three working days.
