About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

S1 resident permit in China

Does my wife and son's name need to be in my foreign expert certificate before they can apply for resident permit in China? Their visa status is S1 dependent type

No, their name can't be in your foreign expert certificate because the certificate is only for you and they won't work in China.
