About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

Is there any chance L visa can apply for permanent residence?

My husband ( but we are not yet married) is a permanent resident in beijing. Me and my kids are going there this May, Our kids who are both minors were granted S1 type, I believe they are qualified to apply also for permanent residence. But me I was granted L type. What is the best way I can do so I can stay there in longer period? Because in order for the kids to stay there of course they need me.. Please help us.. Thanks

Xanne, if you plan to stay for long time. Then you both should get married as soon as possible. Then you can try to apply for a Q1 type, which enables you to stay longer time.
