Flying to PEK from ORD on Am. Airlines; then AirChina frm PEK to Changchun.

Should I assume steps as #4 above (Colton's question)? Will signage to and in the domestic part of the airport be in English? We did this trip about 10 years ago to visit family and I remember we had a really hard time finding our gate in domestic (we had a hotel overnight that time and got dropped off by taxi). THANKS!
