What is a Jiyi year, and what is the actual date?

From a Chinese scroll painting I own:

10th day of the 11th month of a Jiyi year (1929)

Is this November 10, 1929 or a different date?

Any information is appreciated.

Hey, 1929 is Ji Si year. It is Ji Si, but not Jiyi. Ji Si means a part of the heavenly stems and earthly branches.
It is Nov. 10, 1929 in Chinese Lunar calendar. In solar calendar, the day is Dec. 10, 1929.

Thanks! Originally, the person who translated my scroll thought it was 1905; is that a Jiyi year?
