concerning weather in changbaishan in late may

Question

I would like to visit in late May, but have heard conflicting reports that even in spring roads may be closed or the mountain is not easily reached. Any useful informationconcerning this issue would be much appreciated.      Don Muraco from Hawaii

Well the temp in the mountain area would still be very low. In the mountaintop, it would be around 41F. Sometimes it would be snowy in the mountaintop in late May. By walk, it would not easy to reach. But you can hire a car to go, it would be much easier for you.
