About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am an Australian citizen visiting Beijing for 3 nights to speak at a medical conference.

I arrive evening of 14 May from Australia, depart 17 May to return to Australia. Does this qualify for a 72 hour visa free visit?

Regards,
Philip

Philip, according to some other travelers, the 72 hours at Beijing airport is also counted from 00:00 next day. Therefore, you are qualified for 72 hours free transit. However, I personally still suggest you make a call at 0086-10-56095400 to confirm this before you go.
