About:China Visa Exemption

do i need a passport for connecting flight through PEK?

In korea going back to U.S and have a connecting flight through PEK and layover is around 2 hrs do I need a passport?

Hey, it’s certain that the passport is needed. Otherwise, you won’t be allowed to board the plane. I’m wondering you are asking whether the transit visa is required, right? As you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit permit, so the transit permit is not necessary.
