About:China Work Visa

Are there any travel limitations with the Z Visa?

I am a US citizen who will be applying for a Z TYPE for a project in China, through my employer in the US. I am looking for about a 12 month work related stay. I will need to travel back to the US or to India and re-enter during the 12 month period. Does the Z type allow multiple entry?

Thank you
Amin

Hi Amin! In fact, the Z type is a single-entry permit valid only for 30 days. However, after your entry, you can change the Z type into a temporary residence permit. With this residence permit, you can travel between mainland and other countries freely as long as it is valid.
