About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for the 72 hr visa? Would it be issued in Beijing or Chengdu?

I am travelling from Vancouver to Chengdu. I have to change planes in Beijing (3 hr layover) to catch the onward flight to Chengdu. I am transferring planes in Beijing, so obviously not leaving the Beijing airport.

Don, I’m afraid that you cannot make use of the 72hr free transfer facility because you stop over in two Chinese cities.
