About:How to Collect a Train Ticket

Tibet Permit

I am taking the train from Changsha to Lhasa in June and I am getting a Tibet permit from my travel guide in Lhasa. Will it be OK to use a scanned copy of the permit to get on the train in Changsha? I assume they will ask for the real copy when I arrive in Lhasa

I guess you need the real travel permit directly for boarding, the copy would not work. Maybe you need to have the permit delivered to you directly.
