About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Entry and exit for China

Want to visit mainland China, flying from UK to Guangzhou then going to Bejing after to Shanghai.
Up one return want to visit Hongkong as well so wanted to know how many entry and exit do I require for the visa?

Ami, will you fly from to HK to go back home? If so, a single entry permit for mainland will suffice for your travel as you don't need one for Hong Kong. If you plan to go back to mainland after visiting Hong Kong, you can probably make use of the 72 hour free transit policy for a layvoer not beyond 72 hours. In this case, the single entry is also enough for the trip.
