I am currently living in Ireland as an Irish resident, and I also have both US and Swedish citizenship. I am waiting for my invitation letter which will arrive in 30-40 days. I will be in Sweden when it arrives, and I was wondering if it is possible to get my Work entry permit on my US passport in Sweden. If anyone has been in this situation and found a solution, please let me know. It would be such a bummer if I have to go to the US just to secure my work entry permit.Thank you!

Hi Rebecca! Since you have Swedish citizenship, if you apply from Sweden, the consular official may ask you to do the application with your Swedish passport instead of your US passport. However, you don’t need yo go to the US to do it.
