About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for this 72 hours free transit? Could you please simply explain steps how to get it?

Hi, I am coming to Shanghai at 9:45am on Monday and leaving to Hong Kong at 10:20am on Wednesday.

Yes, you qualify for the free transit service. Before your flight arrives at Shanghai, please inform the attendant of your intention to use this service. Then they will report it to the Shanghai Immigration Office. After you get off, go to the service counter dedicated for 72-hour free transit application and go through all formalities.
