Would I be required VISA (M or Z) to perform simple cooking in a event in China?

Hi, I'm Hiroki from Japan, and am invited by my friend in China to help him perform cooking in an instant food event.

There, I would perform a simple cooking of an instant ramen and curry rice for about a month.

Would I be required to obtain work visa (Z or M) to perform above cooking in China?
