Can temporary passport be done in Malaysia Consulate in Guangzhou?

Hi, my mum lost her Malaysian passport in Guilin, the nearest Malaysia consulate from Guilin is Guangzhou? The Malaysia consulate in Guangzhou can process temporary passport for her to return home (Malaysia) within 2 weeks time?

Hello Michelle! You should go to the Malaysian consulate in Guangzhou! Generally speaking, embassy or consulate of your country will provide temporary travel document for you to return home if you don’t have to apply for a new passport.
