About:How long is the Great Wall of China?

May I ask if someone did cross the Great Wall by foot? If there is can you tell the name.

The first foreigner should be William Edgar Geil. According to the museum in Qinhuangdao, he and his team spent around five months to travel from Shanhaiguan Pass to Jiayuguan Pass.
