Can I buy a rail MTR ticket from Hong Kong Kowloon to Wo Lu before I travel?

Yes, you can buy in advance from the official website. But it's not necessary for you to do so. There are enough tickets for you to choose upon arrival. Generally speaking, most people will buy the mtr tickets when they arriving at the subway station.
