About:Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport

Travelling on Jetstar flight from Australia via Singapore and want to get to Shanghai.

Hi,

We are flying into Hangzhou from SIN on Jetstar flight that gets in at 2335. We want to travel to Shanghai and wonder if it would be better to catch a taxi straight from the airport to HZ Railway Station and then catch a train straight to Shanghai (about 0219). Or stay at a hotel near the railway station and catch the G class fast train at 0610 in the morning. We don't speak Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and want to know if the trains at night are safe or better to wait for the G class fast trains in the morning. Also, can you recommend any good (safe & clean) hotels near the railway station that would speak English at that time in the morning.

Many thanks,

Brett

After landing, you can take a taxi to the railway station directly and catch a train to Shanghai. It would be safe enough. Then check in a hotel in Shanghai and in the next early morning, you can start sightseeing.

Anyway, here is the recommended hotels near HZ East Train Station, because most of the ordinary trains as well as G trains start from the station including no. K526 leaving at 02:19.
1. Huihe SSAW Hotel: no. 589, Xinfeng Road, Jianggan District.
2. Crown Plaza HZ: no. 88, Tiancheng Road, Jianggan District.
