How do we get to pearl river from the airport?

How long does a cruise last and about how long is the subway ride? We have an 11 hour layover and want to try to squeeze in a cruise and get back for our connecting flight. Think it will work?

Generally speaking, a cruise always lasts around 2 hours.
Upon landing, you can take subway at the airport and get off at Haizhu Plaza directly. The walk to the river. The whole way takes around 40 mins on the way. And the ticket fare is CNY 7 per adult.
So you have enough time to take a cruise and get back for your connecting flight.
