About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

How to get the resident permit?

I already have the Alien employment letter, confirmation letter of invitation both documment issued by the Chinese authorities, and the z visa. So I wonder what are the exact documentation that i have to get from the company which is going to hire me in order to get the resident permit.

Hi, Emilio! After your entry, you should first register at the local police station within 24 hours. Then go to the labor bureau and apply for a work certificate with your Z type and Alien employment letter. After you get the work certificate, you should go to the local Exit and Entry Administration Office and apply for the residence permit. You may need to provide the following documents: the original and photocopy of your passport and work Z type, an application form, a color full-face photo, Registration Form of Temporary Residence obtained at the police station, a health certificate issued by health quarantine organization or authorized hospitals, work permit, a letter from your employing unit, and the photocopy of your company’s business license.
