About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

In this case, do I need a visa to go to Shanghai?

Hello,
I'm French and I work now in Vietnam. I have intention to go from Hanoi to Shanghai and come back to Hanoi after 2 days in Shanghai.Thank you!

Nhung, as your route is not considered as a valid transit, you are unable to make use of the free transit policy. So you should apply for one entry permit.
