In HK, to save money, you are suggested to get a Octopus Card in HK, which can be used on MTR, buses and ferries and you can get some discounts. In Macao, you can use the free shuttle buses of some casinos and hotels. Also the public bus costs a little. From HK to Macau, you can take ferry from HK Macau Ferry Terminal or HK China Ferry Terminal.
