About:China Visa Application in UK

A 3/4 month tourist type.

UK Citizen applying in London.

Can someone tell me how much this should cost and if possible to do in one go? I would be looking for a double/multiple entry as intend on going to Hong Kong at some point.

Also, does anyone know what the time frame is given to visas to enter by? (time you are given to last date of entry).

I ideally would travel to Japan and South Korea for two months each before going to China but have to apply for the entry permit in London.. so the four months being in Japan and South Korea may invalidate the entry before date?

Hi there!
1. It’s not possible to do it in one go. Even the fastest service requires three days for processing. If you are not using express service, the fee for a single entry type is 66 pounds, for a double entry type is 81 pounds, and for a six-month multiple entry type is 126 pounds.
2. The validity of China entry permit is often three months and you have to enter before it expires. Therefore, the four months in Japan and South Korea will invalidate the entry before date.
3. In addition, if you have to apply through the CVASC office in London, remember to make an appointment online.

Hi cathy, thanks for the reply.

What I meant in one go Was regarding the time frame I can spend in china. So can I spend three months in one go without needing to leave? And therefore get a three month entry permit. For some reason all research I did lead me to believe I could only get a 30 days one each time. But on this board it seems to be different?
