we are planning a short trip to China from 20th April for 10 days and shall be visiting Beijing, Shanghai, xian, Kong Kong.

You are suggested to take T-shirts, for it is a bit hot in HK. Long-sleeved shirts and thin overcoats are also needed, for it will be a bit cool in other cities.
