Do I need to sort out my accommodation before arriving on my Z-visa?

Hello,

Firstly, thank you for all the information on your website, it's super useful :)

My question is, do i need to have sorted out a place to live before I arrive on my Z-visa? My initial plan was to stay with a friend/colleague or at a hotel for a few weeks so that I may find a nice flat to live in.

No, you don't have to do that, but you need to fill in the address of a hotel or apartment on the application form.
