Then you can apply from Chinese embassy in Chile. You should provide
1. copies of your passport information page and previous entry record to HK (if you have)
2. a recent passport photo and finished application form (ID1003A)
3. financial proof, saving account, recent six months bank statement or pay slips　　
4. travel itineraries, accommodation in HK and return air tickets
5. original and copy of your legal resident permit in Chile

If the embassy deals with your application, you will get it on the fourth working day. Otherwise, it takes four to six weeks because your application will be sent to HK Immigration Department.
