About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

I have to take my birth certificate and marriage certificate to be notarized by Chinese Consulate.

I have a teaching job at an International School in Beijing. They require a copy of my university degree unfortunately it is in my maiden name. Do I just go to the Adelaide Street office in Brisbane and how long do you think the process will take? Many thanks JL

Jan, the consulate is unable to notarize the certificates for you. You should first have these documents notarized by any notary public, and then have them authenticated by the Departments of Foreign Affairs and Trade or its Office in States or Territories. Finally, you can apply for the documents authentication from the Consulate General. The authentication process conducted by the consulate normally takes four working days.
