About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I'm an immigrant green card holder flying from USA to Philippines.

Am I eligible for a free transit visa that has international traveling ticket and layo earring to Beijing china? I am a Filipino and has a international traveling ticket. Am I eligible for the free transit , if not how much and what type should I apply?

Leo, if your layover does not exceed 24 hours, then you can make use of the 24 hour direct transfer facility. If the layover is longer, you have to apply for a single-entry G type or L type. The cost would be 30 dollars if you apply from the US.

Is there any problem if i am frm the Philippines? I am a Filipino. What is the best for me? Do I have to go to embassy or at the airport?

Leo, the 24 hour direct transfer policy is for all nationalities, so you don' need to worry if you can use it. It can be applied at the airport. If the layover is longer, you should apply for an entry permit at the embassy.
