How to apply visa if I stay more than 72 hours

Hi. I am Netherlands passport holder. I will fly from JKT to KL then to PEK. From Beijing I will travel to Harbin. Total stay until I return to KL is 7 days. 72 hours free transit I believe not enough as I will stay in Harbin and back in 7 days. What type do I need? Can I apply from Jakarta?

Thanks.

Well, you need an L type. It's possible for u to apply from Jakarta, but except basic documents, like passport, application form, recent photo, round-trip tickets and hotel reservations, you should also submit the original and photocopy of your residence permit or stay permit in Jakarta.
