I have a valid M class for working in China (valid till end of year). Can this type be used for tourism or do I have to get an L class type for visiting PRC?

Hi William, it's OK to use the M type for tourism purposes. The L type is not necessary.

Thank you for your answer. After I posted this I got hold of the Chineses CVASC services and they said that the M could not be used for tourism. Was that person incorrect?

William, frankly speaking, the M type cannot be used for tourism purposes. However, if no one inspects you, you can just enter with the M type for travelling.
