About:Macau Visa Policy

Does a Fiji citizen (passport holder) require a visa to visit Macau?

My daughter is a 26-year-old Fiji citizen with a Fiji passport and Australian residency (living in Australia since 1998). She is planning to visit the Philippines, Hong Kong and Macao next month in connection with a friend’s wedding. We have established that her Fiji passport will allow her entry as a visitor to Hong Kong and the Philippines, but have been unable to confirm whether she will need to apply in advance for an entry permit for Macao. Can you advise, please, whether her Fiji passport exempts her from the necessity to obtain one before travelling to Macau?

Leigh, your daughter needs an entry permit for Macau, but the good news is that she can apply for it upon arrival at there.
