what is the procedure for obtaining a visa to visit china?

Hi, I am a Russian living in Warsaw Poland. Do you know the cost for a Russian to get this and how long it will take? Do I need to visit the embassy or can a travel agent handle it on my behalf, if so which one?Thanks in advance

Fill, you can apply in person or ask a travel agent to help you on your behalf if you can't come in person. If you are really busy and don't know what documents to prepare, you'd better ask an agent to do it for you. Of course, you will pay the service except for the visa fees. Unfortunately, Chinese embassy in Poland doesn't specify the cost on its website. You may consult with the embassy directly. It takes a week to deal with your application since the day you submit your application.
