Hi, I am a Malaysian, currently having working holiday in newZealand. I am planning 2 separate trips to china in May and July respectively.

Well, you may try to apply from Chinese embassy in Wellington. Except for required documents, you should submit your valid entry permit to New Zealand. But I am not sure they will issue one to you.
