About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need to use the same airline? Would I qualify for the 72-hour visa-free transit?

Am considering doing Tokyo-Xian and then Xian-Kuala Lumpur two days later, which would be with two different airlines.

Ken, you are not required to use the same airline. Even though you use different airlines, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit policy.
