About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Can I ask someone to apply double entries visa for me in Malaysia while Im in Singapore.

Hi,

I will send the passport back to Malaysia. I'm trying to travel to Hong Kong through train from Guang Zhou and back to Guang Zhou again.
Someone in embassy told me multiple entries have higher risk to fail in getting, is it true?
How is the successful rate compared to double entries type? Do I need to show the flight tickets as proof? Since I'm apply double entries type, is train ticket valid as a proof also?

Thanks,
Ching

Hey Ching!
1. Since you are now in Singapore, if you have a Singaporean residence permit, you should apply for the China entry permit at Singapore. Otherwise, you have to go back to Malaysia and do the application. You can’t ask someone to do this for you while you are not in Malaysia.
2. If it’s the first time for you to apply for the China entry permit, there is high risk that the application for multi-entry type will be rejected.
3. Compared with multi-entry type, the success rate of double-entry type is higher. If you visit China for leisure purpose, the flight/train tickets are needed as proof.

So,there is still a chance to fail even T have flight and train ticket?Possible to apply the double entries with return flight to China but without the train ticket between GuangZhou and Hong Kong?
In the case of I fail the application for double entries, do I need to pay? Do I have to resubmit and go through the same process for single entry?

Thank you so much for answering my doubt.

Chiing, even though you have submitted all documents, there is a chance that you wiil fail to get the entry permit because the officer can determine the result. However, if you can provide train tickets between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, the possibility for you to get the double entries will be more.

If you fail to get it, you still need to pay. Sometimes, though you are applying for a double-entry permit, the officer will give you a single-entry type instead. So you needn't think too much. If it's the worst case and you don't even get a single-entry type, you have to do the application by the same procedures again.
