About:Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh

Which type to apply

Hi. My daughter is teaching in China. I am going to visit. What type of visa do I get. My daughter has UK passport. Do I need to give Consulate her address in China

Hi Anna! How long will you still in China? If it is not a long time, you can just apply for a L type. To apply for the L type, your daughter should provide an invitation letter for you, and her address would be specified in the letter. If you want to stay for a long time, you can apply for the S type entry permit.
