About:Chinese Consulate in Auckland

Will this information be sufficient for the visa application?

I am a NZ passport holder and I hope to visit Nanning (Bingyang) as a tourist in May. I have a friend in Bingyang who has booked my hotel in Bingyang. The hotel has no email address so they cannot send confirmation details to me in NZ. I have the name and address and phone number of the Hotel.
Thank you

Hey, why not ask your friend to send you an invitation letter? In this way, hotel booking and flight tickets are not required. If he is a Chinese, don't forget to ask him send a copy of his Chinese ID card. If he is a foreigner, copies of his passport information page and valid visa/resident permit is required.
