Question

Hi my name is Samuel, under the Bilateral scholarship program. i was wondering if it is allowed of us to have a part time job like teaching English to kids DURING THE FREE TIME we have? is it ok to do so when an opportunity arises from a  Chinese asking for such an assistance say 3 hours  a week  for example?

Samuel, in princile, it's illegal to work in China with the X type. However, it doesn't matter if you want to do this kind of job during the free time. You had better get the consent of your school before taking part in the job. BTW, under this circumstance, you cannot sign effective labor contract with your employer and your pay is not guranteed.
