About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

transfer from T1 to T2 at Shanghai Pudong Airport

We are arriving into T1 and will need to collect our luggage, than transfer to T2 to re-check in for an international flight. How do we transfer from T1 baggage claim area to T2 international departures? (we prefer the shuttle bus since we will have a lot of luggage and people).

If your flight is from domestic to international, the transfer procedure is: after arrival – domestic arrival access – luggage claim – confirm onward boarding / pass on transfer counter – check in, quarantine, immigration, and security check – waiting and boarding.
If your flight is from international to international, the procedure is: after arrival – international arrival access – joint inspection, quarantine and immigration – luggage claim – international arrivial hall – go to 3F for boarding.
You can take free shuttle bus from T1 to T2 directly aftre arrival.

I guess what I was asking is where do you get the shuttle to transfer from T1 to T2 since we will be in the baggage claim area of T1?
