About:China Transit Visa

Do we need a transit visa??

we are a family ,three with US Passports one US Greencarder with Indian passport. we have one night two days stay in Bejing while coming back from India to US. We are booking package tour with takatour company package which includes Hotel pickup and dropoff at Beijing Airport.

Amila, as for you three US passport holders, the transit entry permit is not needed because you can make use of the 72 hour free transit policy. However, whether the Indian paspsort holder needs one or not depends on your total layover time at Beijing. If the stay is not beyond 24 hours (possibly counting from the midinight after your arrival), the entry permit is needless. Otherwise, a transit G type should be secured in advance.
