About:Embassy & Consulate of South Africa in China

For a short time 2 week visitor to South Africa on holiday what would be the deposit required

A Chinese woman wants to visit South Africa for a 2 week holiday. All costs would be paid for by the South Africa Host during the visit. This includes all flights and medical insurance.
The application can be submitted in Beijing. What would the applicant have to deposit for the visa application. She will return to China and would want to reclaim the deposit. Can details be provided to me. Regards Rod Pentreath

Rod, every Chinese who goes to South Africa is required to provide balance of proof of finance. It depends on how long they stay. Usually it is from 15000 to 30000 RMB per month. This should be the deposit you talked about.
