What is the best way to get to Mt. Qingcheng from Chengdu?

If we take the high-speed train, do we need to take a taxi or a bus afterwards? How long does the entire trip take? Besides, the train, what other options are there (is there a direct bus from Chengdu)?

High-speed train is really a good way to go and it takes 40-50min. After getting at Qingchengshan station, the distance to the scenic area is only 3-4mi and you can take a taxi to reach at the cost of CNY15. Public buses are also available to the front mountain.

Direct buses to the attractions are available at Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station. 2 buses are available at 08:50 and 09:30 there. The ticket fare is CNY22 and it takes about 1.5 hours.

Thanks. Is it possible to buy the train tickets in advance from Chengdu to QCS? I don't see the QCS station on the train search. Is there a different name for the station?
