About:Shanghai Transportation by Air

how far is the Terminal 1 from Terminal 2 in Shanghai Hongqiao Airport

I will be reaching the airport Terminal 1 from Taipei via China Eastern Airlines, then my next flight leaves in 2hrs 55 mins from Terminal 2 to Kunming again via china eastern airlines.How far is both the terminals from each other? is there any transfer between the two terminals?I won't be staying more than 24 hours in china so will i be needing a transit Visa.I am an Indian Passport holder.

It is around 3.1mi (5km) between the two terminals. Free shuttle buses between them are available. It takes 15-20min to travel between.

And no transit visa is needed for your stay is within 24h.
