About:Erhai Lake

I stay at the old town of Dali and I want to see and appreciate the beauty of the Erhai

is the old town within walking distance from the lake? Where is the ideal location should I stay to be convenient to walk to the lake. Which part of the western part of the lake is beautiful?

Yes, it is ok to walk from the old town to the lake and it takes around 40min. U can also take a bike to reach and it takes only 20min. Near the lake, I know the Shinei Taoyuan Hostel is the best choice to enjoy the scenery.

Among all parts, I heard the Shuanglang (双廊) presents the best view.
