About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I'm planning to travel from Seoul to Shanghai to Hong Kong (then back to Seoul), is this route okay?

And also do I just apply for the visa when I arrive at the Shanghai airport or do I need to apply for it beforehand? From what I have read it should all be okay but I would just like to confirm, thanks!

Hello Bonnie! Your route is Okay for the policy. You can tell your airline that you want to use the free transit policy beforehand, and then register for using the free transit upon arrival at Shanghai airport.
