How long does it take from Shanghai South Railway Station to People's Square?

Do you want to use subways as your transportation?
If yes, it takes around 20 mins on the way. And the ticket fare is CNY 4 per adult.

Yes, I meant by train. I am going to be living there for 9 month, do you know about any cards which could be more cheaper as us European have here or is is it the final price?

You can buy a transportation card, which can be used on public bus, subway, maglev and ferry. With that card, you can get a discount more or less. It’s an economical choice.
