Transit Visa to stay in HK airport

Hi,
I am transiting through HK on my way to London from Melbourne. I am a permanent resident of Australia however I am travelling with my Sri Lankan passport. I have no intention of leaving the airport. Do I still need a transit type?

Thanks
R

In this way, you needn't apply for a transit type.
